Danbury Engineering Ltd has signed a tripartite 3 years agreement with PowerChina Hypec aand Synergy Group USA for the implementation of EPC projects and raising of  finance for the implementation of these projects in Nigeria.

PowerChina are a diversified business group covering hydro and water projects thermal power, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, infrastructure and real estate.

PowerChina Hypec was financed by PowerChina and integrated from PowerChina Hubei Electric Engineering Corporation, Hubei Hongyuan Power Engineering Ltd, Hubei First Electric Power Construction Engineering Company and Hydro Electric Power System Engineering Company. Our partners PowerChina Hypec (PCH) are a one stop engineering company, integrating investment and financing, planning and design, project construction and operation management of power engineering and infrastructure.

PCH strategic partnership agreement with DEL covers the full suite of consulting services: starting from environmental investigation, engineering planning and design, investment and financing, construction and operation and maintenance of clean and new energy be it thermal, hydro, wind power or solar energy.

PCH is on top of the preferred list of global contractors who can access directly from the Chinese government and approved Chinese financial institutions the $60bn loan facility provided by the Chinese Government for the development of infrastructure in Africa. Financing under this scheme for State and Federal Governments can be as high as 85% of total project cost with guarantees coming from the Federal and State Governments. On private sector projects, financing could be as much as 70% of total project cost provided the project partner  provides 30% of the remaining cost in equity. Typically PCH will source most of the debt requirement for their participation as EPC contractor.
